Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.48%

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.48%.

The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo Argos SA Pref (BVC:ARG_p), which rose 3.55% or 520.00 points to trade at 15,180.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:GAA_p) added 2.18% or 10.00 points to end at 468.00 and Celsia SA (BVC:CEL) was up 1.33% or 50.00 points to 3,815.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:CCB_p), which fell 5.83% or 700.00 points to trade at 11,300.00 at the close. Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:SCA) declined 2.25% or 1,460.00 points to end at 63,500.00 and Promigas (BVC:PMG) was down 1.10% or 80.00 points to 7,190.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.33% or 4.32 to $321.63 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in March rose 0.01% or 1.00 to hit $10,929.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 12.91 to trade at $2,691.51 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was down 0.47% to 4,286.45, while BRL/COP rose 0.30% to 708.33.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.71% at 109.03.
