Investing.com — Cadillac, the luxury vehicle division of General Motors (NYSE:GM), has announced the 2026 Cadillac LYRIQ-V, its first all-electric V-Series vehicle. The LYRIQ-V is set to be the fastest Cadillac ever produced, with an estimated 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds using Velocity Max, a driver-selectable feature that unleashes the vehicle’s full performance capability.

The LYRIQ-V is more than just a high-performance vehicle; it is a luxury car with a unique character and performance-driven features. It boasts a Cadillac-estimated 615 horsepower and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque, a unique exterior and interior signature sound, and Competitive Mode, a suite of traction management features specifically engineered to increase vehicle agility.

The new model will be available in the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and other global markets to be announced at a later date. Production is set to commence in early 2025 at General Motors’ Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee.

The LYRIQ-V is equipped with a 102 kilowatt-hour battery pack that will enable a Cadillac-estimated 285 miles of range. It features standard dual motor all-wheel drive, a unique, multi-layered sound experience, Launch Control for consistently thrilling straight line acceleration, and Brembo® performance front brake calipers. The LYRIQ-V also includes standard Super Cruise, a hands-free driver assistance technology.

The exterior design of the LYRIQ-V stands out with unique lower front fascia and side rockers, body-colored lower trim, and available carbon fiber accents. It also features 22-inch wheels with a dark sport finish and the V-Series logo etched on them. The LYRIQ-V will come standard with a black painted roof and offers an exclusive limited exterior color option, Magnus Metal Frost.

Inside, the LYRIQ-V’s cabin integrates performance details with cutting-edge technology. It includes a panoramic fixed glass roof, a 23 speaker AKG Studio Audio System with Dolby Atmos®, and a 33-inch-diagonal advanced LED display. The LYRIQ-V will also launch with a dual-plane Augmented Reality Head Up Display.

The LYRIQ-V’s interior features include power-adjustable seat bolsters for the driver and front passenger seats, infotainment experience with specific customization options reflecting the V-Series persona, a signature V-Series illuminated sill plate, and standard paperwood décor, available Nappa leather seating and available embroidery and V-pattern detailing on the seatbacks.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the LYRIQ-V starts at $79,990, excluding tax, title, and dealer fees. The final price will be set by the dealer. More information is available on the Cadillac website.
